The Most Chic Places in Oklahoma City, According to a Local
Oklahoma City has a reputation for wide open spaces, a slower pace of life, and beautiful but affordable homes. But there's another side of this city that can surprise people, especially families relocating here from bigger metros. OKC has a genuinely chic side, and it isn't always the one showing up on every "best of" list.
I've spent years living and working in this market, and these are the spots I send people to when they want to see it for themselves.
RH Rooftop at OAK
Start here. The RH Rooftop sits inside the OAK district and it's the kind of place that makes visitors stop and ask, "Wait, this is Oklahoma City?" Come for a chic lunch or dinner under the glass ceiling and chandeliers. It's a beautiful way to see how much this city has grown.
Oklahoma City Museum of Art
When you want a date night that's a little different, head to the OKC Museum of Art in the Downtown Arts District. The Chihuly glass tower alone is worth the trip. It's an easy evening that feels special without trying too hard.
The Treatment Room
Near Classen Curve, The Treatment Room covers all your med spa needs in a space that feels more like a designer living room than a clinic. This is where you go when you want to feel taken care of.
Sweet Mia Nail Spa
In Nichols Hills, Sweet Mia Nail Spa is where natural nails rule. Clean, calm, and beautifully done. If you're new to the city and looking for your go-to nail spot, this is it.
FRIDA Southwest
Head to the Paseo Arts District for FRIDA Southwest and the Daily. Excellent cocktails, an excellent dinner, and one of the most striking dining rooms in the city. Paseo itself is worth a stroll while you're there. It's one of OKC's most artistic, walkable pockets.
Gretta Sloane
When you need a good outfit, Gretta Sloane in Nichols Hills Plaza is the answer. It's easy to browse and staffed by people who actually help you find what works.
Kitchen 324
Downtown, Kitchen 324 serves an excellent brunch inside a gorgeous historic building. It's a favorite for slow weekend mornings and a great first stop if you're in town touring homes.
Elisabetta
And when you want a dinner spot that makes you feel special, book Elisabetta in Nichols Hills. This is the reservation for anniversaries, celebrations, or just a night when you want the full experience.
