July 2026 brought some of the strongest luxury closings the Oklahoma City metro has seen this year. If you are shopping the top of the market, or just watching it, here is what actually sold.
The Top Sales in July
Nichols Hills led the metro at $5,250,000, with a second high closing at $2,195,000. Edmond followed with a $3,200,000 sale and a $2,387,580 closing. Yukon posted top sales of $890,000 and $875,000. Mustang closed at $805,000 and $680,000.
What These Numbers Tell Us
Nichols Hills and Edmond continue to lead the luxury segment across the metro. Buyers searching at the top of the market have the most selection in these two areas, and Edmond in particular offers a long list of established neighborhoods to choose from. Turnkey estate homes with mature landscaping, oversized lots, and full amenity packages are consistently trading here.
Yukon and Mustang continue to track closely at their own top tier. The high-$800K range represents the ceiling for most buyers in these markets, and that segment moves steadily. Families looking for newer builds, larger lots, and more space per dollar tend to land here.
Together, these numbers tell a familiar story about the OKC metro. Wide open spaces, slower pace of life, beautiful but affordable homes, even at the top of the market. What $5 million buys in Nichols Hills looks very different from what it buys in most other major metros.
A Note on How I Search for Luxury Buyers
One thing worth knowing if you are relocating to Oklahoma City: I pull homes by school district, not by city name. Oklahoma City limits extend into every one of these suburbs, so a property carrying an OKC address can actually sit inside the Yukon, Mustang, Edmond, or Deer Creek district. Searching by city alone leaves qualified homes off the list, and at the luxury end that can mean missing the exact home you are looking for.
This matters most in Edmond, Tuttle, and Newcastle, where district lines and city lines rarely match up cleanly. Building the search correctly from the start saves time and surfaces properties most buyers never see.
