Family Friendly Restaurants in Oklahoma City

Family Friendly Restaurants in Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City Area Restaurants We Frequent as a Family of FiveFinding restaurants that work for a family of five is no small task. We are always looking for places with great food, room for the kids to move around, and an atmosphere that feels fun instead of stressful. Over the years, these have become some of our go-to family friendly restaurants around the Oklahoma City area.
Taco NationTaco Nation is one of our favorites for a laid back family night. The food is consistently great, and the setup makes it easy for both parents and kids to enjoy themselves. One of the biggest perks is the playground between the restaurant and the brewery, which gives the kids space to play while we wait for food or relax a little longer. They also host a monthly night market, which makes it even more fun to visit. It turns dinner into an experience rather than just a meal.

Pryor’s Pizza KitchenPryor’s Pizza Kitchen is a win for families who need space. There is a playground, pickleball courts, and plenty of room for kids to roam safely. It is one of those places where you can actually sit and finish a conversation while the kids burn off energy nearby. They are always adding something new, which keeps it interesting for repeat visits. It feels community oriented and welcoming every time we go.

SaucedIf you have pizza lovers and arcade fans in your house, Sauced is a must. The pizza is wonderful, and the free arcade with vintage games seals the deal. It is hard to compete with good food and classic games in the same spot. This is an easy choice for a casual family night, especially when you want something that feels a little different from the usual dinner out.

Goro RamenGoro Ramen has been a favorite of my kids since they were tiny. There is no playground, but the food makes up for it. The ramen is consistently delicious, and if there is a wait, you can explore Paseo nearby. It is a great option when we want something cozy and flavorful, especially on cooler evenings.

Awaji IzakayaAwaji Izakaya has one of the coolest atmospheres in the city. The decor makes it feel like you stepped into another world, and the menu offers plenty of options to try. It is also home to the best birthday song experience we have ever had at a restaurant. For families with adventurous eaters, this is a fun place to mix things up and try something new together.

These are some of the Oklahoma City area restaurants we keep coming back to as a family of five. I am always looking for new spots to add to our list.
