Oklahoma City knows how to do patios right. Whether you're in the mood for cocktails with friends, a date night under the stars, or simply soaking up the vibe of a vibrant local hotspot, there's something magical about dining outdoors—especially when the food and atmosphere are just as memorable as the view.
Here are three of my absolute favorite patios in OKC that are always worth a visit (and often a return visit, too 😉):
1. Oso Paseo (@osopaseo)
This is one of the most fun and casual patios in town. Oso is located in the heart of the Paseo Arts District, and its patio is just as colorful and lively as the surrounding neighborhood. Bright decor, casual seating, and a laid-back vibe make it the perfect place to unwind with friends.
Their food? Incredible. The tacos are delicious, the queso is a must, and the cocktails never miss. There’s seriously nothing better than gathering around a big outdoor table, sharing dishes, and sipping margaritas in the sunshine. If you’re going, be sure to try the Tuna Tostadas—they’re fresh, flavorful, and one of my favorites on the menu.
2. Sedalia’s (@sedaliasokc)
Okay, where do I even begin? Sedalia’s is that girl—stylish, sophisticated, and completely unforgettable. The food, the drinks, the service… everything is thoughtfully done and so, so good.
The patio may not be what you'd expect—it's not oversized or flashy—but that's part of the charm. It feels intimate and cool, and you’re often surrounded by the kind of people who make you feel like you’ve stumbled into the best place in town. And honestly? You have.
The menu changes often (which I love), and it's always exciting to see what new dishes they’re serving up. But one thing that never disappoints is the focaccia. You must order it. And don’t be afraid to branch out—everything I’ve tried there has been top-tier.
3. Frida Southwest (@fridasouthwest)
Frida’s patio is a showstopper. Nestled in the Plaza District, it’s one of the most beautiful outdoor dining spaces in OKC, with chic decor, warm lighting, and a vibe that just feels special.
It’s the perfect place for a date night, birthday dinner, or any time you want to treat yourself to a little elevated dining experience. The food never misses—from bold Southwestern flavors to beautifully crafted plates—and the rotating cocktail menu is always fun to explore. I still think about a strawberry cocktail I had there years ago (I wish it would come back!). Whether you're into spicy margaritas or something floral and refreshing, there’s a drink on the menu for you.
